Job summary
Schneider Electric is seeking a Lead Engineer, ideally based in Australia (NZ candidates considered), to lead a portfolio of Industrial Automation projects and services. You will oversee design, development, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and support of systems, interfacing with diverse customers across the New Energy landscape.
You will drive technical leadership, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on time, within budget, and to meet customer
Qualifications
- Bachelor-level engineering degree; Engineers Australia certification valued.
- Proven track record delivering industrial automation projects.
- Experience with AVEVA software suites and industrial networks.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across automation, control systems, software and digital solutions.
- Lead project delivery including planning, scheduling, and resource management.
- Ensure HSE, quality, and on-time delivery for customer projects.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, HSE, supply chain, and global teams.
- Develop team mastery and foster ongoing professional development.
