Job summary

Embedded Expertise in Melbourne seeks a Lead Electrical Site Supervisor for ITS projects. You will coordinate daily site activities, supervise teams and contractors, and ensure compliance with standards and safety rules.

Travel to fronts as required; review HSEQ documentation; report progress and incidents; support environmental and QA policies; experience in ITS and major infrastructure is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Experience leading electrical site activities on ITS or transport projects.
• Ability to supervise multiple trades while maintaining safety and quality.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards for infrastructure works.

Lead Electrical Site Supervisor - Intelligent Transport Systems

Reporting to the Construction Manager- ITS, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day site activities and meeting project milestones

Main Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily site activities to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Supervise employees and contractors, ensuring compliance with project and statutory requirements, standards, and codes.
• Manage the placement of materials, plant, and equipment required for site works.
• Report on work progress, delays, issues, and incidents.
• Review and contribute to HSEQ documentation and design.
• Travel to various work fronts as required and directed.
• Actively promote and support Project Environmental, QA, OH&S, and Company policies.
• Ensure compliance with all Safety Rules and Procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor and report on contractor performance, providing advice and direction to meet performance objectives.

Experience:

• Highly regarded: Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and site supervision.
• Beneficial: Experience in transport, roads, major infrastructure, and construction.

Qualifications:

• Preferred but not required: Electrician's (A Grade) licence.
• Preferred but not required: Electrical engineering degree or related qualification.
