Job summary

Downer is seeking an experienced ITS Electrician to join the Maintenance and ITS team in Western Australia, based in Maddington. You will be involved in installation, testing and commissioning of Intelligent Transport Systems and electrical assets across Perth metropolitan and surrounding areas.

The role requires a current WA Electrical Worker's Licence, strong safety compliance, and the ability to read drawings and interpret technical documentation.

Qualifications

• WA Electrical Worker's Licence is required.
• Strong knowledge of electrical legislation, standards and safety.
• Experience with electrical testing, fault finding and commissioning.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and technical docs.
• Experience mentoring apprentices and junior staff.
• Commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Good organisational skills and accurate documentation.
• Current driver's licence is required.
• Experience with ITS, road lighting and traffic signal construction is a plus.

Our Maintenance and ITS team delivers construction and maintenance services across Western Australia's road network, supporting critical infrastructure through the installation, operation and maintenance of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS), road lighting and associated electrical assets.

Join Our Team as an ITS Electrician - Maddington, WA

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrician to join our growing team based in Maddington. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of projects, including the installation, maintenance, testing and commissioning of Intelligent Transport Systems and electrical infrastructure throughout the Perth metropolitan area and surrounding regions.

About You

• Current WA Electrical Worker's Licence

• Strong commitment to safety, quality and environmental standards
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to complete documentation accurately and on time
• Current driver's licence
• Demonstrated experience in ITS, road lighting and traffic signal construction.
