Job summary

WSP in Adelaide is seeking a Lead - Principal Electrical Engineer to drive delivery of sustaining capital, brownfield and minerals processing projects for leading mining clients. You will lead electrical engineering teams, manage deliverables, budgets and schedules, and collaborate with Project Managers to mitigate risks.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering electrical engineering projects within mining, resources or heavy industry.
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing engineering deliverables.
• Strong understanding of project execution, resourcing and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Ability to balance technical requirements with commercial and delivery objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical engineering teams across multiple projects.
• Provide oversight of project deliverables, schedules, budgets and resource planning.
• Ensure quality, consistency and on-time delivery of engineering outputs.
• Work closely with Project Managers to identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
• Mentor and develop engineers at various career stages.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support bids, proposals and project planning activities.
• Contribute to the ongoing growth and capability of the Adelaide Mining team.
