Job summary

Aurecon Group is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer in the Mining & Resources domain, based in Brisbane. You will lead a team of electrical engineers, provide technical direction, and collaborate with specialists to deliver critical gas projects for a major client throughout the project lifecycle.

You will build strong client relationships, drive opportunities, manage project progress and expenditure, mentor engineers, and ensure alignment with client standards while advancing best-practice

Qualifications

• 15+ years of LV and HV electrical engineering experience managing complex projects.
• 5+ years in stakeholder engagement and leading teams of engineers.
• Experience managing projects in alignment with client policies, standards and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Electrical Engineering project team and provide clear technical direction.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to discuss electrical works for large-scale projects.
• Manage project progress, expenditure and performance outcomes; drive continuous improvement.
• Mentor and supervise engineers locally and in remote locations.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complete projects.
