Mott MacDonald is recruiting a Principal Electrical Engineer in Sydney to support energy and transport projects. You will deliver HV/LV design, earth studies and power system modelling while interfacing with clients and internal teams.

You will lead work packages, ensure design quality, safety, and alignment with project objectives, contributing to a diverse, high-performing energy group.

Qualifications

• Qualified electrical engineer with a track record on HV/LV design.
• Experience applying design principles to energy and transport projects.
• Strong collaboration and leadership across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical design packages across HV and LV scopes.
• Lead small to medium complex work packages with accountability for outputs.
• Provide technical guidance and review to junior team members.
• Apply safety in design principles and deliver compliant solutions.
• Interface with clients, OEMs and internal disciplines.
