Job summary

IGS Early Learners in Ipswich is seeking passionate Lead Educators for our Toddler and Pre-Prep rooms to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. You will work collaboratively with teachers, educators and families to deliver high-quality programs aligned with EYLF and NQS, while supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education required.
• Bachelor of Early Childhood (in progress) suitable for consideration.
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications required.
• Multiskilling may be required and duties outside role may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with educational leader and team to plan, implement and evaluate engaging learning programs.
• Deliver high‑quality programs aligned with EYLF, NQS and the Ipswich Grammar School Early Learners philosophy.
• Support children's development and wellbeing through responsive, play-based experiences.
• Maintain daily/weekly program objectives and contribute to learning outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with legislative frameworks and centre policies.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Provide a safe, inclusive environment suited to each child’s development.
• Observe, document and contribute to assessments of learning.
• Support room operations, environments, resources and routines.
• Undertake general administrative and operational duties.
