Job summary

C&K Amberley Community Childcare Centre in Ipswich, Queensland, is seeking a Lead Educator to join our dedicated team. You’ll help create a safe, engaging, play-based learning environment where children, families and the community feel welcomed and supported.

This permanent full-time role offers 40 hours per week on a rotating monthly roster from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm, with a monthly RDO. Salary ranges from $36.86 to $41.35 per hour plus super, plus valued benefits.

Qualifications

• Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA recognised equivalent).
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• Completed Child Safety Training Certificate.
• Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Lead educator role to create a safe, supportive and engaging play-based learning environment for children, families and the wider community.
• Guide children’s early learning and development within a structured play program that balances learning with freedom of choice.
• Collaborate within a team to deliver high-quality education and care at C&K Amberley Community Childcare Centre.
