Job summary

Kinda-Mindi Early Learning Centres in Bella Vista seeks a Lead Educator to drive high quality curriculum decisions and a strong school readiness program. You will work with ECTs, Diploma and Certificate III staff to create engaging learning environments that motivate and challenge children.

Applicants should have NQF familiarity, a commitment to inclusive practice and excellent communication with families and colleagues. Availability between 7.00am and 6.00pm is required.

Qualifications

• ACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care.
• University degree in Early Childhood Education/Teaching with current teaching accreditation is acceptable.
• Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates.
• Accredited Child Protection Training (e.g. CHCPRT001, CHCPRT025).
• National Child Safety Training Foundation and Advanced courses.

Responsibilities

• Implement contemporary school readiness strategies in partnership with families and schools.
• Contribute to child assessment documentation and curriculum planning.
• Ensure health and safety needs of all children are supported.
• Maintain environments which foster curiosity and engagement.
• Promote professional standards and respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Lead reflective practice and inclusion/equity curriculum considerations.
• Advocate for the rights of children and their families.
• Abide by service policies to ensure high-quality practices.
