Zusammenfassung

Grassroots Early Learning Centre – Maudsland QLD is seeking a passionate Lead Educator to join our Pre Kindy team. You will plan, implement and evaluate educational programmes whilst fostering a nurturing and developmentally appropriate environment for children in your care.

This casual role offers flexible hours with potential to move to Part-Time, competitive hourly rates, ongoing professional development and a collaborative team focused on inclusion and wellbeing.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified or working towards ECT preferred; not essential.
• Experienced with this age group (Pre Kindy).
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• WWCC (Working with Children Check).
• Proven experience in lead or supervisory roles in early childhood education.
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and best practice for ECE.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Proven ability to mentor and support other educators in a collaborative team.
• Commitment to inclusive practices and supporting diverse learning needs.

Aufgaben

• Plan and implement engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with EYLF.
• Assess and document children's progress; communicate with families about development.
• Create a safe, inclusive environment supporting wellbeing for all children.
• Lead and supervise educators and support staff in your area.
• Build relationships with families and encourage parental involvement in learning.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations and health/safety compliance.
• Mentor and develop team members through feedback and coaching.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of programmes and practices.
