Job summary

Friends’ Early Learning Centre, part of The Friends' School in Tasmania, is seeking experienced Lead Educators. You will design, implement and evaluate play-based programs that support each child’s interests and development, while guiding a team of educators in a welcoming, inclusive learning environment.

Applicants should hold recognised ECEC qualifications, knowledge of the EYLF and NQS, and a commitment to safeguarding and reflective practice.

Qualifications

• Recognised Early Childhood Education and Care qualification.
• Up-to-date knowledge of EYLF and NQS regulations.
• Experience planning, implementing and evaluating play-based programs.
• Proven ability to lead and collaborate with a team.
• Commitment to child safeguarding and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and evaluation of engaging, play-based programs.
• Provide leadership, guidance and mentorship to educators.
• Foster partnerships with families and the wider school community.
• Ensure child safety, health, and inclusive practices.
