Job summary

Queensland Childcare Services (QCCS) is seeking passionate Lead Educators to join Lowood Early Education Centre. You’ll guide a room with creativity and confidence, mentoring team members and ensuring high-quality educational programs.

Schedule: Mon–Fri, up to 38 hours weekly with flexible options. Location: Lowood. Compensation: Up to $39/hr + super. This values-driven centre emphasizes community, nature and joyful learning for children aged 0–5.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education (minimum) required.
• Current Blue Card.
• Leadership experience and strong curriculum knowledge.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum planning and program delivery for children aged 0–5 years
• Mentor and support Assistant Educators
• Foster inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environments
• Build strong partnerships with families and the wider community
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and centre standards
