Job summary

Busy Bees Byford the Glades is seeking a passionate Lead Educator to lead the daily learning program in your room and support educators in a safe, engaging environment where children thrive.

This full-time role requires a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-equivalent), current First Aid/CPR, WA Working with Children Check, and strong knowledge of EYLF/NQS.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Current Working with Children Check for WA.
• Demonstrated experience leading a room within an early learning environment.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Collaborative and supportive leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF.
• Inspire and mentor Educators within your room.
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and the local community.
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and centre policies.
• Support children’s development, wellbeing, and learning outcomes through engaging play-based experiences.

Lead Educator (Full-Time) | $36.14 - $41.11 per hour | Byford the Glades

We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join our team at Busy Bees at Byford the Glades located at Unit 1, Lakeside Plaza, 15 Covenant Lane, Byford, WA 6122 , on a full-time basis. You will play a key role leading the daily learning program within your room, supporting educators, and creating a safe and engaging learning environment where children thrive.
