Job summary

Pelicans in the Park, part of G8 Education, is seeking a Diploma-qualified Lead Educator to join a team of Early Childhood professionals. You will lead learning experiences and help create a nurturing, stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years.

We offer Above Award wages with a recent increase and a 50% discount on childcare fees at any G8 Education Centre. Flexible work arrangements and ongoing professional development are provided through Wonder.LAB and EAP programs.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved certificate/diploma in Children’s Services.
• EYLF and NQS understanding.
• Experience as an Educator with 0-5 years.
• Current WWCC/Blue Card/DCSI clearance.
• First Aid certificate current.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 82 children with operating hours from 6.30am-6.00pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check / Blue Card / DCSI Clearance
• First Aid certificate
