Kool Beanz Byron Bay Academy is hiring Lead and Assistant Educators in Byron Bay. Join a family-owned childcare centre that values culture, community and belonging. Roles involve supporting educators, implementing EYLF, and building strong community ties.

Applicants should have Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or be working towards it), current First Aid/CPR, Blue Card, and exceptional communication and organisational skills. EYLF understanding is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Certificate III / Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification or working towards.
• Current First Aid, CPR and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificates.
• Paid working with children check (Blue Card).
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks/workload.
• Ability to demonstrate innovative and creative thinking.
• Enthusiastic, positive, fun and outgoing attitude.
• Approachable and friendly with a demonstrated passion for early education. An understanding of EYLF.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to build strong relationships.

Responsibilities

• Supporting a team of educators to implement programs, follow the EYLF and share the excitement of child-led discovery.
• Creating long-lasting connections and partnerships with your local community, schools, and families.
