Job summary

Early Learning Victoria (ELV), part of the Department of Education, is opening a 102-place centre in Cohuna in 2027 for long day care and three to four-year-old programs. You will deliver high-quality education, lead and mentor teams, and build strong relationships with families in a play-based setting aligned to national and Victorian frameworks.

Relocation incentives up to 8,000 may apply; applications close 11 October 2026.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent and VIT registration is required.
• First Aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications and mandatory reporting training.
• Experience delivering high-quality, play-based educational programs.
• Knowledge of National Quality Framework and Victorian Early Years Framework.
