Balmain Care For Kids' in Balmain, NSW is seeking an experienced and passionate Room Leader to lead a team of educators and deliver high-quality care and educational programs for children.

This full-time role focuses on mentorship, EYLF-aligned programming, safety and wellbeing, and thorough documentation of children's learning, while fostering strong relationships with families and the community.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3, Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Room Leader or in a supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Excellent communication with children, families and colleagues.
• Knowledge of EYLF and best practices in ECE.
• Team player who can work autonomously when needed.
• current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management certifications.
• NSW Working With Children Check, GECKO and Child Protection training.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of educators.
• Develop and implement engaging educational programs aligned with EYLF.
• Ensure safety, wellbeing and supervision of all children.
• Maintain records and documentation of children's learning.
• Foster relationships with children, families and the community.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of centre policies and practices.
• Comply with regulations, legislation and industry standards.
