Job summary

PwC Australia in Sydney, NSW, is seeking a Lead Developer to join the Tax and Legal Digital team. You’ll drive end-to-end enterprise software delivery, craft scalable web apps, and mentor a team of developers to deliver high‑value solutions for internal PwC clients and external customers.

You’ll work with ReactJS/NextJS on the frontend and NodeJS/NestJS on the backend, leveraging MongoDB, SQL, Python, and GenAI capabilities.

Qualifications

• End-to-end enterprise software delivery background.
• Experience with web technologies and web standards.
• Proficient in frontend (ReactJS, NextJS) and backend (NodeJS, NestJS).
• MongoDB, SQL, Python; GenAI experience; knowledge of DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Build libraries and frameworks for large, complex web applications.
• Design and implement user-facing features for internal and external clients.
• Optimize web apps for speed and scale.
• Write client-side code for high-volume production apps and prototypes.
• Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and business analysts to deliver enterprise apps.
