STACK Infrastructure APAC is expanding its Australian Engineering team, and the Design Manager role is key to this expansion. Detailed and design process oriented, you will remain strategically focused while supporting project teams on issues in a culture of support and collaboration.

You will lead multidisciplinary design efforts for data centre projects, develop briefs, manage consultants and vendors, and ensure deliverables align with schedules and STACK's requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related built environment field.
• 5–10 years progressive construction/engineering development experience.
• Minimum 5 years leading multidisciplinary projects with delivery focus.
• Experience in construction project delivery, controls, and risk management.
• Experience with data centre projects or similarly complex environments is advantageous.
• Proficiency with 3D design tools and BIM workflows.
• Strong presentation and communication skills; fluent English.

Responsabilités

• Represent STACK at technical meetings with consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop engineering/design briefs and RFPs for projects.
• Collaborate with Design Director and delivery teams to appoint consultants and equipment vendors.
• Outline deliverables and manage outputs to agreed schedules.
• Ensure briefings at project inception and facilitate design reviews.
• Provide guidance on long lead procurement and vendor relations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and support customer-design implementations.
