STACK APAC is expanding its Australian Engineering team, and the Design Manager role is key to this expansion. Detailed and design‑process oriented, you will stay strategically focused while deep diving to support project teams with a collaborative culture.

You will lead technical meetings, develop briefs, manage consultant/vendor deliverables, and support procurement initiatives. English fluency and Australia work eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Project Management, or related built environment field.
• 5-10 years progressive experience in construction/engineering development with multi-disciplinary project lead experience.
• Experience in construction project delivery, project controls and risk management.
• Data Centre project experience or similar complex projects is advantageous.
• Experience with 3D Design Tools, BIM processes and 4D/5D design principles.

Responsabilités

• Represent STACK at technical meetings with consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Develop engineering/design briefs and RFPs for projects.
• Collaborate with Design Director and delivery teams on appointing consultants and vendors.
• Outline deliverables at project inception and manage outputs to schedule.
• Ensure consultants are briefed at project inception and lead design reviews.
• Provide ongoing input to ensure STACK's requirements are met.
• Support APAC Design Management and Design Director with long lead procurement initiatives.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities within projects under remit.
