Qualifications

• Certificate III in Dental Assisting is mandatory for this role.
• Working with Children Check is required prior to appointment.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or National Police Certificate required (not older than 3 years).
• Pre-employment screening including Criminal History checks will be conducted.
• Probation period may apply.
• Vaccination/immunity evidence may be required (Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, TB).

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Dental Assistant workforce through mentoring, workforce coordination, rostering, recruitment and professional development.
• Coordinate outreach planning, travel arrangements, procurement, inventory management and locum administration.
• Provide advanced chairside dental assisting, including radiography, patient care coordination and participation in outreach programs.
