Job summary

Insignia Financial is seeking a Lead Test Engineer to own testing across our data engineering platforms and UDP. You will shape testing strategy, automation frameworks and engineering standards in a cloud-based data environment, ensuring data solutions are accurate, reliable and production-ready.

You will influence testing approaches in both agile and traditional teams, while collaborating with Data Engineers to embed testing into CI/CD and drive continuous improvement across data testing

Qualifications

• Experience building and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Strong SQL ability and data testing experience.
• Familiarity with Jira and CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of data-centric testing environments (DataVault a plus).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Validate data accuracy across projects on Google Cloud (GCP).
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines with Data Engineers.
• Identify and track defects and support resolution with development teams.
• Shape testing approaches in agile and traditional environments.
• Champion continuous improvement and innovative automation across data testing.
