Job summary

Insignia Financial is expanding its Data Engineering team to build modern data platforms on Google Cloud Platform. You will design, develop and optimise scalable data solutions powering insights and digital experiences across the organisation.

As a GCP Data Engineer, you will handle large, complex datasets in a cloud-native environment, apply DevOps practices, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience designing scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Proficiency in Java or Python for data pipelines and applications.
• Experience with CI/CD, IaC (Terraform) and testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer).
• Build and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines using cloud-native technologies.
• Apply DevOps practices including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
• Ensure data quality with validation, monitoring, and governance controls.
• Optimize pipelines and storage for performance, scalability, and cost.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data platforms, driving continuous improvements.
• Implement security controls and access management across data platforms.
