Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks an exceptional Controls Design Engineer to join the Data Center Global Services team. You will focus on Building Management System and EPMS design standards across AWS's global data center portfolio, driving standardization and cost-effective, reliable control solutions.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, lead technical leadership activities, and own the scope of work and design documentation for critical infrastructure projects

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities experience
• Experience with electrical and mechanical systems installation and startup/commissioning
• Knowledge of building operations, control diagrams, and HVAC systems

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BMS/EPMS design standards and CPL/BOD documents
• Lead vendor selection processes and review submittals for AWS standards
• Coordinate with regional project managers to finalize project SOWs and manage RFIs
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed to manage projects
