Job summary

Infosys in Australia seeks an experienced Network Engineer to support customer network transformation with SRv6, MPLS, IPv6, BGP, ISIS and EVPN. This role is based in Sydney/Melbourne, Australia, with hybrid working arrangements.

Salary is AUD 129,311–142,018 gross annually. The position requires 8+ years in IP/MPLS Service Provider networks and strong hands-on skills in routing, VPNs, and traffic engineering.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IP/MPLS Service Provider networks.
• Hands-on experience with SRv6, MPLS and Segment Routing.
• Experience in carrier-grade backbone networks and network transformation.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support and drive RCA for critical incidents.
• Support customer network transformation and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver network projects.

Seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in SRv6, MPLS, IPv6, BGP, ISIS, EVPN, and Service Provider Networks to support customer network transformation and modernization initiatives.

Location: Sydney/ Melbourne, Australia

Salary: AUD 129,311– 142,018 Annual Gross

Roles and Responsibilities:

• 8+ years of experience in IP/MPLS Service Provider networks
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• SRv6 (Segment Routing IPv6)
• MPLS & Segment Routing
• BGP, ISIS, OSPF
• EVPN/VXLAN
• IPv4 & IPv6
• Traffic Engineering and QoS
• Experience on:
• Experience in carrier-grade backbone networks, network transformation, and migration programs
• Ability to provide L3 support and drive RCA for critical incidents

Essential Certifications:

• CCNP/CCIE Service Provider
• JNCIP-SP / JNCIE-SP
• ITIL Foundation
