Job summary

Infosys in Sydney, Australia, is seeking a Network Engineer with 6-8 years of experience to design, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise networks including SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, and routing protocols.

You will work with Cisco Viptela, Velocloud, Silver Peak, Meraki and other vendors, maintain docs, meet SLAs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. CCNA/CCNP certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years relevant experience in Technical Operations/Network service delivery.
• CCNA and/or CCNP level knowledge required or preferred.
• Hands-on with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, Velocloud, Silver Peak).
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, MPLS, HSRP/VRRP and LAN/WAN routing.

Responsibilities

• Design network topology and configurations per requirements.
• Configure and troubleshoot network devices across vendors (Cisco, Juniper, Meraki).
• Support and manage SD-WAN deployments and related services.
• Ensure SLA adherence and timely incident resolution.
• Maintain network documentation and change logs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for incident resolution.

Role Description

Looking for Network Engineer

Location: Sydney, Australia

Salary: AUD 108,571– 119,893 Annual Gross

Please Note: - The above salary range is only indicative and maybe subject to suitable enhancements, based on internal company processes

Roles and Responsibilities

• 6-8 years relevant experience in the areas of Technical Operations and Service Delivery in a Large Enterprise or a Service Provider
• Network Engineer will be primarily responsible for designing the network, configuration and troubleshooting as per requirement and document the same.
• The support of SDWAN solutions such as Cisco Viptela, Silverpeak and Velocloud Meraki.
• Based on high level design provided by Customer and solution manager, engineer need to prepare configuration, collect network information and prepare low level design detail
• The engineer will be responsible making sure that all client support cases are met, responded, and resolved in a timely manner without breaching the SLA.
• Configure and maintain Layer 2/3 network devices with various vendors like cisco , Juniper etc (routers, switches, Transport devices)
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated network issues from L2/L3 support
• Deploy and manage SD-WAN solutions (e.g., Cisco Viptela, Silverpeak)
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability and reliability
• Perform network upgrades, patching, and configuration changes
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and change logs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for incident resolution and change management
• Should have strong knowledge of networking technologies such as BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, MPLS,HSRP,VRRP ,LAN/WAN etc.
• Required to follow up with clients, have joint troubleshooting sessions with the client to help achieve speedy resolutions.
• Engage with partner for pre-staging ,cross check the configuration/pre-check logs before installation or delivering the equipment to respective country partner office.
• Hands on experience on implementation , design , migration, planning
• Hands-on experience on Cisco SDWAN/Viptela / velo cloud / silver peak Technology and products
• CCNA and CCNP Level knowledge
• LAN/WAN Troubleshooting, Experience on dynamic routing protocol-BGP,OSPF and static routing protocol.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to tailor communication style to different audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to create compelling presentations and effective demonstrate technical solutions
• A result -oriented approach with a strong work ethic
• Active listening, client relationship building , collaboration, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong ability and desire to learn new technologies and capability to drive innovation are absolute must
• Certification: CCNA/CCNP/ENSDWI/SPSP
