Job summary

Vendicrete is seeking a Leading Hand Concreter to coordinate on-site crews delivering high-rise slabs, decks and other commercial concrete works. You will plan pours, read plans, and ensure safety and quality on projects.

The role requires proven supervisory experience, strong planning and a focus on safety and programme compliance, with hands-on leadership on large-scale concreting operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in leading concreting crews.
• Experience with large-scale pour-and-place operations.
• Experience on high-rise slabs and decks or major commercial projects.
• Ability to read structural and architectural drawings.
• Strong planning, communication and safety focus.
• Knowledge of ITPs and pre-pour inspections.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate concreting crews on site.
• Read and interpret structural and architectural plans.
• Plan and run large-scale concrete pours.
• Deliver high-rise slabs and decks, factory floors and other commercial works.
• Set up and use RL lasers accurately.
• Understand and work from reinforcement steel details.
• Complete ground-floor formwork.
• Coordinate reinforcement, formwork, penetrations, levels and concrete placement.
• Conduct pre-pour checks and identify issues before concrete arrives.
• Monitor finish, levels, tolerances and overall workmanship.
