Job summary

Toowoomba Regional Council is seeking a Lead Compliance Officer (Illegal Dumping) to drive the council's Fighting Illegal Dumping Partnership Program across the Toowoomba Region. You will investigate, monitor and enforce illegal dumping offences, coordinating program implementation and supporting grant reporting requirements.

You will contribute to developing sustainable compliance systems and operational practices to enable ongoing delivery of the program, working under general supervision.

TAKEA LEAD ROLE IN ADDRESSING ILLEGAL DUMPING IN OURREGION

• $90,427.77 -$96,644.88gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leaveloading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
• Temporary Full timeposition for 12 months from appointment.

About the position

As the Lead Compliance Officer(Illegal Dumping), you will be responsible for delivering Council’sFighting Illegal Dumping Partnership Program through investigation,monitoring and enforcement of illegal dumping offences across theToowoomba Region.

You will provide specialisedcompliance expertise in the investigation of complex illegaldumping matters, coordinate program implementation activities,assist with grant reporting requirements and support thedevelopment of sustainable compliance systems, processes andoperational practices to enable ongoing delivery of theprogram.

In this position, you will workunder general supervision.
