Job summary

Noosa Golf Club in Tewantin, QLD, is seeking a Full-Time Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations and deliver quality meals during lunch and dinner service.

You will supervise kitchen staff, develop menus with management, ensure food safety, manage costs, and work closely with front-of-house to guarantee guest satisfaction. This role requires a trade-qualified chef with club or hospitality experience and a positive, collaborative kitchen culture.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified chef with proven experience in a club environment, bistro or similar hospitality venue.
• Ability to lead busy service periods while maintaining kitchen culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all kitchen operations, ensuring consistent quality, presentation and execution of all dishes
• Supervise, train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and professional working environment
• Develop and refine menus in consultation with management
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene and health regulations at all times
• Monitor inventory levels, manage food costs and minimise waste whilst maintaining quality standards
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction
• Manage supplier relationships and source premium quality ingredients
• Maintain kitchen equipment in excellent working condition and coordinate necessary maintenance
• Create and implement standard operating procedures and recipes to ensure consistency across all menu items
