Job summary

Design & Build Recruitment is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter for a major $12 million construction project in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The role calls for leadership on site, coordination of carpentry works, and delivering high-quality workmanship on schedule.

You will read plans, supervise carpentry teams and subcontractors, and work Monday to Friday in a stable, long-term opportunity with competitive salary up to $110,000 plus Super. Apply within.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Leading Hand Carpenter/Lead Carpenter
• Trade qualifications and tickets
• Ability to lead and coordinate a team
• Strong understanding of construction processes and safety requirements
• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate carpentry works on site
• Supervise carpentry teams and subcontractors
• Read and interpret plans and specifications
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety and workmanship
• Coordinate with site management and other trades
• Assist with programming, planning and day-to-day site activities
• Ensure works are completed efficiently and to schedule
