Job summary

Agri Talent Pty in New South Wales seeks an experienced broadacre farmer to run a large, diversified operation. You will work with the owners to set strategy, plan capital works for current and future seasons, and execute the plan with a capable team on a 5000 ha farm with water rights for 1400 ha of cotton and dryland areas.

You will oversee deep crop management, planting, irrigation, pest and disease control, and harvesting, while managing staff, machinery maintenance, water use, and safety.

Qualifications

• Experienced broad acre farming experience.
• Ability to work with owners to set strategy and capital works for seasons.
• Deep crop management: planting, irrigating, pest and disease management, harvesting.

Responsibilities

• Execute the strategic plan for the current season.
