Job summary
Heidelberg Materials Australia is seeking a Leading Hand - Maintenance in Wolffdene, QLD. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a qualified Fitter or Boilermaker with strong experience in fixed plant maintenance and a commitment to safety.
You will lead a small team (2-3 direct reports), coordinate contractors, perform maintenance on fixed plant equipment, and ensure WHS compliance. The role starts early morning with overtime on Fridays and Saturdays.
Qualifications
- Qualified Fitter or Boilermaker with fixed plant maintenance experience.
- Strong WHS compliance and risk management understanding.
- Confined space, dogging, rigging and EWP certifications required.
Responsibilities
- Lead a small team and coordinate contractors (2-3 reports).
- Perform maintenance on fixed plant equipment.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and risk assessments.
- Operate within confined spaces and perform dogging, rigging, and EWP tasks.
- Use tablets for reporting and documentation.
