Job summary

Talenza is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer in Sydney to guide a major transformation of enterprise CI/CD capabilities. You will balance hands-on engineering with strategic direction, mentoring multi-disciplinary teams and shaping platform standards across delivery pipelines.

The role focuses on robust automation, security governance and scalable deployment frameworks within a large-scale environment. A hands-on leader with strong stakeholder influence is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Lead DevOps, Principal DevOps or Platform Engineer.
• Strong background building and optimising CI/CD pipelines in complex environments.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
• Expertise across DevOps tooling, automation frameworks and integration platforms.
• Strong understanding of observability, monitoring and operational excellence.
