Bluewater Village ELC in Cairns region is seeking Lead and Assistant Educators to join our family-owned early learning centre. We offer outdoor, play-based learning with a supportive team and a 9-day fortnight option. 37.5 hours per week; permanent part-time roles available across 6:00 am–6:00 pm.

Working alongside our Centre Director, Assistant Director and wider educator team, you will:
Support the supervision, care, safety and education of children throughout the day
Contribute to the smooth and successful day-to-day operation of the service
Plan, implement and evaluate engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences aligned with approved learning frameworks
Create welcoming, secure, stimulating and interactive learning environments
Build positive relationships with children, families and your fellow educators
Follow all child protection, health, safety and service policies and procedures
Most importantly, bring your personality, ideas and passion for early childhood education to our team!
You will have:
A current paid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Currently hold or working towards A Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
Experience delivering high-quality education and care within an early childhood setting
Knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard
A current First Aid and CPR Certificate, or willingness to obtain one
A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a supportive team environment
Permanent part-time applicants to be available to work 37.5 hours per week across our operating hours of 6:00 am–6:00 pm.
