Evolution Mining is seeking a Lead Accounts Payable & Receivable to join the Shared Services team in Sydney with flexible working arrangements. The role leads a small AP/AR team, ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant transactional finance services across multiple sites.

You will provide leadership, act as an escalation point for stakeholders, and contribute to reporting, controls, and process improvement initiatives that support operational performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading AP/AR or transactional finance teams.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience coaching and developing team members.
• Exposure to Shared Services or multi-site environments.
• Strong systems capability including ERP platforms and advanced Excel.
• Experience using reporting tools such as Power BI is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead the AP/AR team and drive service delivery across multiple sites.
• Co-ordinate stakeholder relationships and ensure accurate, compliant transactional finance services.
• Monitor KPIs and report performance outcomes.
• Support vendor management and compliance activities.
• Drive continuous improvement and standardisation within Shared Services.
• Contribute to the broader Shared Services leadership team.

We are currently seeking a Lead Accounts Payable & Receivable to join our Shared Services team in Sydney.

This is an opportunity to step into a leadership role where you will guide a team, influence service delivery across multiple operations and contribute to the ongoing development of our Shared Services function.

About the Role

Reporting to the Group Manager Shared Services, you will lead the Accounts Payable and Receivable team, ensuring efficient, accurate and compliant transactional finance services across the business.

You will provide leadership to a small and engaged team, act as a key escalation point for stakeholders and contribute to reporting, controls and process improvement initiatives that support operational performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading, coaching and developing the AP/AR team
• Managing service delivery and stakeholder relationships across multiple sites
• Monitoring KPIs and reporting performance outcomes
• Supporting vendor management and compliance activities
• Driving continuous improvement and process standardisation initiatives
• Contributing to the broader Shared Services leadership team
• Supporting reporting and insights that assist business decision making

About You

You are an experienced finance leader who enjoys developing people, improving processes and working closely with stakeholders to deliver outcomes.

You will bring:

• Experience leading Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or transactional finance teams
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
• Experience coaching and developing team members
• Exposure to Shared Services or multi‑site operational environments
• Strong systems capability, including ERP platforms and advanced Excel
• Experience using reporting tools such as Power BI will be highly regarded
• A continuous improvement mindset and a collaborative approach to leadership

You'll gain exposure to broader finance and commercial activities, contribute to improvement initiatives across Shared Services and build valuable experience within a large, operationally focused business.
