Canberra Health Services is seeking a Team Manager for Alcohol and Drug Services at The Canberra Hospital. This full-time role leads the Counselling and Treatment Services team and provides clinical and operational leadership across a multidisciplinary workforce in a tertiary hospital setting.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality, evidence-based alcohol and other drug treatment services, with supervision, governance, and strategic planning responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering psychological and counselling interventions for substance use issues.
• Strong knowledge of the Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) sector and contemporary treatment approaches.
• Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams in a complex healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Counselling and Treatment Services team.
• Oversee service planning, performance monitoring, reporting, evaluation and governance activities.
• Manage resources and develop policies, service improvements and strategic planning.
