Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in Java/J2EE and related ecosystem; database querying experience.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
• Experience leading use of AI-assisted software development tools and ensuring correctness, performance, and security.
• Knowledge of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and safe adoption practices.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and financial services IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions including design, development, and troubleshooting, thinking beyond routine approaches.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and maintains services with dependences; reviews and refactors code.
• Produces and maintains architecture/design artifacts for complex apps; ensures security, resiliency, performance, and scalability.
• Drives team adoption of enterprise AI-assisted engineering practices to improve quality, speed, and operations with consistent validation standards.
• Applies SDLC toolchain know-how (CI/CD, automation, observability) and AI-assisted development capabilities to increase value from automation.
• Identifies recurring issues and automates remediation to improve software stability.
• Gathers insights from large datasets to develop visualizations and drive continuous improvement.
• Mentors engineers and fosters diversity, inclusion, and collaboration across teams.
