Job summary

Mediix in Darwin is seeking a Speech Pathologist to build and lead an adult caseload in a private practice. Referrals come from GPs, specialists, aged care providers and self-referrals, creating a genuine, varied caseload you can shape.

You’ll work across clinic sessions, in‑home visits, aged care outreach and telehealth, with full admin and billing support. AHPRA registration, Australian work rights and a willingness to obtain NT Working with Vulnerable People clearance are required; salary

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration as a Speech Pathologist with adult clinical experience.
• Australian work rights; skilled migration pathways available for the right international candidate.
• Comfortable working independently and building referral relationships.
• Interest in developing subspecialty areas welcomed but not required.
• Ochre Card NT clearance or willingness to obtain.
• Openness to the Top End lifestyle.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead an adult caseload across a range of clinical areas including post-stroke communication, cognitive-communication, voice and dysphagia.
• Mix of clinic-based sessions, in-home visits, aged care outreach and telehealth.
• Autonomy to shape the caseload toward your clinical interests.
• Full admin, scheduling and billing support to keep you clinically focused.
• Structured supervision and a genuine PD culture.
• Collaborate with local geriatricians, neurologists and rehab physicians for cross-referral.
