Qualifications

• Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia (or equivalent) with completed post-university actuarial examinations.
• Strong general insurance experience, preferably workers compensation or related portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Lead actuarial analysis and modelling for sustainable scheme outcomes.
• Provide insights and reporting on scheme performance, risks and opportunities.
• Lead or contribute to strategic actuarial projects with quality outcomes.
• Explain complex modelling results clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor and support junior team members to build capability.
• Improve actuarial processes and analytical methods.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to support evidence-based decisions.
