Job summary

Montgomery Advisory represents a leading Australian commercial law firm seeking a Lawyer or Senior Associate in the Corporate/ECM/M&A group in Sydney. The role focuses on corporate transactions including M&A, private equity and ECM, with exposure to major deals across Australia and Asia.

You will report to senior practitioners in a top-tier practice, with opportunities on IPOs, rights issues and restructurings, while working in a forward-thinking and flexible environment.

Qualifications

• 1–7 years' experience in corporate law from a notable practice in Australia or another English-speaking jurisdiction.
• Adapt to working styles of different partners.
• Developing commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Work on IPOs, placements and rights issues for corporates and managed funds, in addition to M&A activity.
• Assist with mergers, acquisitions, disposals and related due diligence.
• Be supervised by leading corporate practitioners and gain exposure to major corporate transactions.

Position Description

This leading corporate practice is looking for talented corporate lawyers who have gained exposure to corporate transactions — M&A, private equity and/or ECM.

You will report into and be supervised by some of Australia's leading corporate practitioners whilst having exposure to the wider group.

Requirements
