Job summary

Wolf & Williams in Sydney is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate for its Corporate M&A team. You will work on major Australian and cross-border transactions across public M&A, private equity, equity capital markets, and governance matters.

You will gain exposure to leading Partners and collaborate with Banking & Finance, Funds and Tax teams on complex deals, offering a broad practice rather than narrow specialization. Australian lawyers abroad returning to Sydney are encouraged to apply.

I’m working with a leading top-tier Australian firm looking to add an Associate or Senior Associate to its Corporate M&A team in Sydney.

For corporate lawyers wanting exposure to the full spectrum of transactional work, rather than being pushed into a particularly narrow practice, this is an excellent opportunity.

The work

You’ll work alongside some of the market’s leading corporate lawyers on major Australian and cross-border transactions across:

• Public M&A, including takeovers and schemes
• Private equity transactions
• Equity capital markets
• Corporate advisory and governance

The client base includes major listed companies, financial sponsors and international organisations, with matters spanning infrastructure, energy, financial services, technology, healthcare, mining, media and retail.
