Qualifications

• 3-5 years PAE in cyber, financial lines or commercial litigation.
• Background in cyber, financial lines or commercial litigation with exposure to general insurance.
• Strong academics and a legal foundation built in a reputable commercial practice.

• Lifecycle management of cyber incident response.
• Strategic counsel on security risk, data privacy and regulatory notifications.
• Drafting briefs for Counsel and managing contentious matters arising from data breaches.

Due to continued expansion, the team is seeking a Lawyer and Cyber-specialist for the Sydney office. Reporting directly to firm leadership, you will play a pivotal role in managing high-stakes cyber matters, collaborating with top-tier industry professionals, and advising corporate clients and insurers on complex risk mitigation and dispute resolution.

Key matters will include lifecycle management of cyber incident response and providing strategic counsel on security risk, data privacy, regulatory notications. You will also be responsible fordrafting briefs for Counsel and managing contentious matters, including potential litigation or dispute proceedings arising from data breaches.

The ideal experience level for this position is within 3-5 years PAE with a background in cyber, financial lines, or commercial litigation with wider exposure to general insurance. You will bring strong academics and a legal foundation built in a reputable commercial practice.
