Qualifications

• 2–6 years PQE in a reputable insurance litigation practice.
• Experience in defendant professional indemnity or professional liability or broader insurance litigation.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills, especially handling sensitive claims.
• Commercially minded with ability to develop practical and strategic client solutions.
• Genuine interest in specialising and progressing within professional liability insurance.

• Act for insurers and insured professionals in complex, sensitive, high-value disputes.
• Advise on professional liability, insurance coverage and policy interpretation.

• Assist with complex litigation, including multi-party disputes and class actions.
• Collaborate with Counsel, experts, insurers and stakeholders to develop effective resolution strategies.

You will work across a broad range of professional liability and insurance litigation matters, including:

• Defending professional negligence and indemnity claims involving lawyers, barristers, financial advisers, real estate professionals, engineers and architects.


• Acting for insurers and insured professionals in complex, sensitive and high-value disputes.


• Advising on professional liability, insurance coverage and policy interpretation.


• Managing claims involving alleged breaches of professional duties and negligence.


• Assisting with complex litigation, including multi-party disputes and class actions.


• Working closely with Counsel, experts, insurers and other key stakeholders to develop effective resolution strategies.


• Providing advice on risk management, claims prevention and dispute resolution.

The ideal candidate:
