Job summary

Gorilla Jobs Pty Ltd. is seeking a Construction Litigation Lawyer in Sydney with 2 to 4 years’ PAE to join a national practice. You will support disputes for builders, contractors, developers, and insurers, handling disputes from initial advice through to resolution.

The role offers exposure to large-value projects, mentoring from partners and special counsel, and genuine progression as you build experience, with flexible working arrangements and wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years' PAE in construction litigation.
• Admission to practise in Australia and a current practising certificate.
• Experience in construction disputes and litigation.

Responsibilities

• Assist on construction disputes and litigation from first advice through to resolution.
• Research, draft and prepare documents and advice.
• Work alongside partners and special counsel on the larger files.
• Take on increasing responsibility as your experience builds.

Our client is a national construction and insurance practice with a strong reputation in construction disputes and litigation. A permanent opportunity has opened for a Construction Litigation Lawyer with 2 to 4 years' PAE to join the Sydney team.

About the role

You will support the team acting for builders, contractors, principals, developers, sub-contractors and construction insurers on disputes across construction, projects and infrastructure.

• Assist on construction disputes and litigation from first advice through to resolution


• Research, draft and prepare documents and advice


• Work alongside partners and special counsel on the larger files


• Take on increasing responsibility as your experience builds

What you’ll bring

• 2 to 4 years' PAE


• Admission to practise in Australia and a current practising certificate


• Litigation or dispute resolution experience, construction preferred


• Strong research and drafting skills and a collaborative approach

Additional information

• $115K - $150K + super, set by experience
