Catholic Healthcare is seeking a Laundry Assistant at St Paul’s Northbridge to provide high quality laundry services for residents in our aged care home. You will collect, wash, fold and return personal clothing, supporting a friendly team in a safe environment.

This permanent part-time role offers 4 hour shifts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with a values-based culture and opportunities to contribute to resident well-being within NSW’s network of locations.

Qualifications

• Kind and compassionate with a genuine desire to care for the elderly.
• Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.
• Reliable team player who supports colleagues.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.

Responsabilités

• Provide laundry services including collecting, washing, folding and sorting resident clothing.
• Distribute personal items back to resident rooms and maintain tidy systems.

As a member of the Housekeeping tea, you will be providing high quality laundry services for our residents within our residential aged care home, ensuring residents belongings are clean and presentable.

About the Role:

• Provide laundry services which includes collecting and washing personal clothing, folding and sorting, distributing personal items back to resident rooms
• Supporting your peers and maintaining a co operative team spirit
• Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures

To be successful in this role you’ll need
