Job summary

St Vincent's Private Hospital Northside in Chermside, QLD, invites experienced registered nurses to transition into Intensive Care through a 24-month ICU Transition to Practice Program (0.8 FTE) commencing February 2027. Affiliated with ACU, the program blends academic study with hands-on clinical experience in one of Queensland's largest private ICUs.

Upon completion, participants may credit two subjects towards a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing (Intensive Care) while developing the

Qualifications

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum two years' post-graduate experience in an acute hospital setting.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to patient-centred care and clinical excellence.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Genuine interest in developing a career in Intensive Care Nursing.

Responsibilities
