St Vincent's Care Services – Chermside QLD is inviting experienced Registered Nurses to join the ICU Transition to Practice Program, a 24-month, 0.8 FTE pathway designed to launch a career in Intensive Care and earn credits toward a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing (Intensive Care).

You will be mentored by ICU educators, gain exposure to advanced critical care technologies, and have the potential for ongoing employment in the ICU upon completion, with supportive benefits and a strong

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum two years' post‑graduate experience in an acute hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the 24-month ICU Transition to Practice Program (0.8 FTE).
• Develop critical care nursing skills through hands-on clinical practice and formal education.
• Receive mentorship from experienced ICU educators and clinicians.
• Build knowledge of acute deterioration, advanced therapeutics and critical care pharmacology.
• Pathway to ongoing employment within the ICU on successful completion.
