Sports Direct Australia is opening a NEW Adelaide store and seeking a driven Store Manager to lead from day one. You will coach, develop and empower a high-performing team while owning the store's performance, wage control, and customer experience.

You will shape store culture, implement standards, and drive sales in a fast-paced, big-box retail environment. A strong commercial mindset and passion for people development are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Store Management experience in a fast-paced big box retail environment.
• Strong commercial acumen – you know your sales figures, wage % and stock metrics.
• Passion for people development and a proven record of team success.
• A high attention to detail – your floor is always on point.
• Operationally savvy with experience in rostering, visual merchandising, and loss prevention.
• A true ‘Make it Happen’ mindset – solutions-focused and performance-driven.

Responsibilities

• Bring a premium, service focused approach to drive sales, hit KPIs, and make your mark in a high-profile store launch
• Lead and empower a dynamic team through coaching, training, and goal setting
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly store, team and individual performance – celebrate wins and close the gaps
• Nail wage control and rostering to keep the business sharp and efficient
• Bring the energy to visual merchandising, stock management, and shrink prevention
• Create a safe, inclusive, and high-performing environment for your team and customers
