What you'll be doing

• Operating and maintaining industrial lathe machines to produce a variety of metal components and parts
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications and work orders to set up and operate machinery accurately
• Performing routine maintenance and adjustments on lathe machines to ensure optimal performance
• Monitoring production runs and making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
• Reporting any issues or machine malfunctions to the appropriate personnel
• Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Collaborating with the wider production team to meet deadlines and achieve business objectives
