Vivad(Aust) Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Printer Operator Large Format Digital to join our afternoon shift team. Based in Campbellfield, you will operate and maintain large format printing equipment, ensuring high-quality output and efficient production schedules.

You will load materials, monitor jobs, perform routine maintenance, and collaborate with the team to meet deadlines. Prior experience with Durst and colour management is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating large format printers in a professional printing environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of digital printing equipment and workflows.
• Proficiency with print management software and colour management systems.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to high-quality outputs.
• Ability to read/interpret print specifications, artwork and technical documentation.
• Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot independently.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple print jobs.
• Reliable and safety-conscious with strong teamwork.
• Willingness to obtain forklift certification is advantageous.
• Experience with finishing processes such as laminating, cutting or mounting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate large format digital printing equipment according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
• Load and prepare materials including media and inks into printing equipment.
• Monitor print jobs and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
• Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with client specs.
• Maintain and perform routine cleaning and maintenance on printers.
• Process artwork and design files for printing with correct formatting and colour accuracy.
• Record production data and track job progress with accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and manage workflow.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and keep a clean, organised work environment.
• Communicate equipment malfunctions, supply needs and production concerns to supervisors.
